DSS Arrests #BuhariMustGo Activists In Dunamis Church
Operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have reportedly arrested six human rights activists for wearing #BuhariMustGO T-Shirts to the Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja. It was gathered that about ten activists went to the church on Sunday morning to worship at the church but some of them were surprisingly rounded up and arrested by the church security guards who later handed them over to the DSS.
According to SaharaReporters, six of the activists were whisked away in a Hilux van and two power bikes.

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, has openly expressed feelings of betrayal by his boss, Governor Godwin Obaseki, concerning the upcoming 2024 governorship election. During an interview on Arise TV on Wednesday morning, Shaibu revealed his disappointment over Obaseki’s decision not to support his governorship bid.
Shaibu, who joined Obaseki’s government as a deputy, claimed that he was instrumental in enhancing the administration both politically and financially.

Nigeria Ranks Sixth In 2022 Global Terrorism Index
Nigeria has been ranked sixth out of ten countries on the 2022 Global Terrorism Index (GTI) released by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP). The report said Nigeria, as one of the 10 countries most impacted by terrorism, recorded an improvement in the ranking from 2020 to 2021.
According to the index, Nigeria dropped two places from the fourth position in 2021 to six in 2022, which is an improvement for the West African country.
