Ikoyi Building Collapse: 'Public Deserves To Know'
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has inaugurated members of the probe tribunal that will conduct an inquiry into the collapse of a 21-storey structure on Gerrard Road in Ikoyi on Monday. Naija News reports that this was made known in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile.
According to the statement, the Governor also signed the instrument legitimising the composition of the panel and empowering the tribunal to invite or summon anyone and organisation useful to the investigation.
Kaduna PDP Suspends Its Media Support Groups
The opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Kaduna State has in a bid to strategize ahead of the 2023 general elections suspended all its media support group. This was known in a statement released on Friday by the Kaduna State chapter of the party, Naija News reports.
The Publicity Secretary of the party in the state, Abraham Alberah Catoh, who made the development known to newsmen in Kaduna said the new modus operandi of media activities of the party will be made public soon.
